This old gal…

Looked through a box of old photos…great aunts and uncles…cousins of that mother of mine…

Searched one on social media…55 years older still lovely as ever…but what to my wondering eyes did appear on her Facebook page…a photo…

From a reunion…a family reunion…the one and only family reunion from long ago held at the Ozarks…never before seen shots of that mother of mine…smiling…laughing…

Remember that reunion clearly…had just graduated from high school…got to spend a glorious weekend with the most wonderful people in the whole wide world…

And now…it’s reunion time again…those favorite people of mine coming to Old Town for a visit…hang out at that famous pizza place…

And this old gal is excited…because it’s been years…a ridiculous crazy number of years since we’ve been together…

Gonna introduce that husband of mine…eat pizza…catch up…eat pizza…reminisce…eat pizza…and make sure they know how special they are…

Because we all have those people who through the years…the ridiculous crazy years…make your life better just by being in it…

And for this old gal…these are…and will always be…those people…
