You Do You

​This husband and I…

Went for a walk…in Prince Solms Park…while at our home away from home…a beautiful sunny day…74 degrees…this old gal in shorts…my Mr…bundled up…

We strolled by the river…watching tubers float by…laughing at turtles…bathing in the sun…when our reverie was interrupted…by some heckling…some California surfer dudes…who happened to find themselves in Texas…were apparently drawn…to our awesomeness…

Hey man…one shouts…get in the picture…take your clothes off…and enjoy the sun…this old gal stopped and turned…with that…are you talking to me…gaze…my Mr….just kept walking…

Surfer dude…heckles again…and sure enough…he was talking to us…or should it be said…one of us…
strolling me smiled…and waved…acknowledging his heckle…and then kept on strolling…

If this husband of mine wants to wear a jacket…when it’s 74 degrees…so be it…
he will take it off…when he wants…

And that just so happened to be…a few days later…when the thermometer reached 90 degrees…

And that day…this husband of mine…DID get in the picture…
