You Deserve The Spotlight

This old gal…

Has family…has friends…has friends that are like family…and family…that are also…friends…

Chose this weekend to visit that daughter of mine not because it was Mother’s Day…but because those great nieces of mine who live near there…had a dance competition…

Had been a couple of years since we’d all been together…the little ladies so talented…so fun to watch…that mother of theirs adorably adorable…

And that sister-in-law of mine…it just wasn’t enough time to catch up…could have chatted forever…made a pact to get together at least once a month…

Because time is fleeting…goes way too fast…and those friends that are family…and those family that are friends…deserve to be in the spotlight…center stage…every now and then…

Because it’s hard to imagine…what life would be without them…
