Was reading an article in People Magazine…Shelley Duvall the actress…famous for her role in The Shining…a standout as Olive Oyl in Popeye…had passed away…

Skimmed through the story…like one does with things like this…and something caught the eye…that photo…of Shelley today…was familiar…

Not the photo actually…but the woman…have seen her…several times…at an antique store…sitting at the checkout…greeted us when coming in…

Was memorable…bulky bold colorful jewelry…clothing like that of an artist…quiet…yet kind…

And sure enough…her hometown…a stopping point for us travelers…that antique store…an all time favorite…

Who knew…came the thought…that that woman behind the counter…was actually…someone special…

But aren’t we all…someone special…bold and colorful in our own way…creating our own life’s masterpiece like a talented artist…

Of course we are…beautiful…inside and out…so very special…indeed…
