This husband of mine…

Was bummed…wanted to see the mutton busting at the rodeo…has talked about it for years…laughs at the segments about it on TV…always says, “We’ve got to go to this”…

And we do, we surely do…but the mutton busting event runs mostly on the weekend and driver me was afraid to drive on the weekend so the mutton button arena was silent…but what to our wondering eyes should we see?…

Only a few steps away…something just as unique…just as clever…and maybe, just maybe, a little more fun…

Swifty Swine pig races…tiny little piggies racing around a track hoping to win the big prize…the Oreo cookie snack of a big prize…which they all get anyway no matter how fast they go…

And it was fun…funner than fun…free, family friendly entertainment, sure to make you smile…

And so it is…in life…sometimes things don’t work out…sometimes your heart feels sad…but the Powers That Be have a way of moving you forward…getting you to the exact place…you were meant to be…
