When The Cat's Away

When this old gal…

Gets home from her travels…the house is always immaculate…spic and span…not one dirty dish in the sink…this man of mine…goes the extra mile…and it’s so appreciated…but there’s also a little suspicion…there may be another ulterior motive…to the tidiness…

It would seem…that during any amount of wifely absence…things…get rearranged a little…one of us…angles a doo dad this way…the other…likes it facing…that way…and so the game goes…when the cat’s away…the mouse…changes up the this’s and the thats…the way he thinks…they look best…

But hey…we are all entitled to our opinion…and this old cat…is willing to compromise on an angle or two…and those changes…that are a hard no…go right back where they were before…that is…until the next time…she ventures out and about…and thus begins…our happy little game…of doo dad cat…and mouse…

And this husband of mine…agrees…
