Chatted with that Croc girl of mine…she talking about her job…working with struggling youth…how some…can be so mean to others…

I forgive those kids who were mean in elementary school…came her words…because in the end…good things came of it…

Good things…as in the need to transfer to a different school for junior high…where she learned about Jesus…was supported by adults…was accepted by kids who didn’t care about her Crocs…

Good things…as in today…in her classroom…she keeps an eye on those who may seem different…excluded…ostracized…and helps them feel accepted…

And so it is…in life…those things that don’t kill you…can make you stronger…but they can also make you…wiser…open your eyes…to those who hurt…

And let’s face it…any day…any time…it could be…any one of us…
