We Don't Always Get What We Want

This husband and I…

Had a fridge…a fancy fridge…the fanciest fridge boring old me has ever had…side by side…ice maker…filtered water…

Came with the house…and died at the house while we were away…just stopped working…no rhyme or reason…

Headed out first thing to buy a fridge…a fancy fridge…gonna stand firm this time…not like the vacuum…or the mower…gonna pay a little more…and get what fancy fridge lover me wants…

And found it…beautiful…perfect…fancy as fancy could be…but big…too big…even having measured…too big…to get into Little Cottage…

Just like Dead Fridge was too big to get out…must have brought it in in prices…it was a nightmare really…a fancy fridge nightmare…

And so it is…in life…we don’t always get what we want…but that’s ok…just gotta look at the bright side…and there’s always a bright side…even a fancy fridge failure bright side…

Saved lots of money…got a huge Menards rebate…and new fridge might not be fancy…but with a few magnets and some photos…we can make him fancy…fancy enough…for a simple old gal…like me…
