Treasure The Little Things

That little buddy of mine…

Took this old gal on a treasure hunt…at the outlet mall in San Marcos…found a coin on the floor…at one of the shops…and with that…the search was on…for three hours…two pairs of eyes excitedly scanned…floors…carpets…sidewalks… any area a little gem may have fallen…

Took this old gal back to the day…when Little Ginger…just about the same age…found a coin while walking in the mall…this…kicking off 15 years…of family random coin finding fun…find a coin…put it in the till…when the till is full…cash it in and use it on the next girlie grand adventure…

It was never ending…unpredictable…fun…a common goal…for the ladies…going so far as to gift their mama…with a special bank…to be used specifically…for the till…and now…that little buddy of mine…back home…five coins and 45 cents richer…this old gal…keeps the hunt going…

Not realizing how much these treasured little things are missed…with those littles…until…there it is again…years later…different…yet the same…but still…so very very sweet…
