That Old Man’s Creek Bridge photo…
Caught the eye of this old gal…not because of the bridge in the background but because she could have sworn…after going through old photos so many times…that she had never seen this one before… How could she have forgotten that little boy…that little boy with his tiny red coat and his rolled up jeans…that little boy standing there so adorably adorable…talking while his grandpa worked… And so the search began…stacks of photos…seeing them through different eyes…looking specifically for that little boy…different versions of that little boy…smiling…laughing…innocent… And just so darn adorable…that big brother of mine…many of you know him…Pizza Man…business owner…adorable probably not a word that comes to mind in describing him… But he was…and still is…in his big brother husband father grandpa pizza making quirky way… Adorably talented…adorably witty…adorably skilled at doing so many things…adorably clever…adorable driven…adorably kind and thoughtful in ways most of us don’t know… And so it is…in life…find your adorable…that black-and-white-old-photo-you adorable…it’s in there somewhere…nestled between time and that thing we call life… Let it out…a smile at the cashier…a story for the neighbor…a book read to a child…find it…share it…cuz there’s nothing more adorable…than being adorable... And those daughters of mine…agree…
