That DC daughter of mine…

Bid farewell to that husband of hers…he heading back east…she planning to stay the week…take care of a few things while in the Midwest…

Spent a few days with Ginger…got a taste of cat mom life…played the sister quiz Tik Tok trend…indulged in coffee at Smokey Row…then packed up and headed to Nebraska…able to schedule the annual MS check up…around this unexpected trip to the area…

And once again…FOMO hit…mama me…one year ago…The Ladies…all four of us…spending 10 days together…convening for a big birthday bash…and a trip to the MS doc…in Wahoo…mama me…there for those first trips to Mayo…then the follow ups…would have done anything to be there this time…to support…continue to learn…just in case…that daughter of hers…needed a shoulder…

But it wasn’t to be…this grown up lady able to navigate her health journey on her own…keeping her biggest fan abreast…through messaged play by plays…

And then it came…that text…I’m all done…it said…and I have news…but I want to tell you…in person…
In person…in two days…mama me going for a visit…hear that news…digest that news…navigate that news…together…
