This old gal…

Cursed herself…bragged in her head earlier this summer about feeling great…feeling healthy…and then allergies hit…

Let it get out of control…felt off balance…not typical symptoms for allergy me…went to a local doctor…she said it was allergies…haha...

Decided to see the trusted PC an hour and a half away…stopped for lunch on the way…a place we often eat but seems to have gone downhill…ordered a scoop of chicken salad on lettuce…

And then…one of use cursed herself again…thought if anything’s going to give me food poisoning it’s going to be this…and she…was not wrong…

Not gonna point fingers…it could have been the Hu Hot we ate on the way home…but it’s the chicken salad that’s haunting the most…

And so today we celebrate those caretakers who lift us up…carry us to be exact…when you stupidly order the chicken salad…

Who send care packages all the way from DC filled with goodies for sick people and jalepenos for the now man in charge…

And nevergonnaeatchickensalasdagain me is on the mend…and thankful for friends and family…and also thankful that that caretaker of hers…who’s been bustling around like crazy…ordered the catfish…
