This husband and I…

Said good-bye…to The Other Place…our home…away from home…for exactly…76 days…

The quaint cabin…beautiful river…gorgeous town…the nudge to get out of this old gal's comfort zone…so many adventures…so many memories…learning old gal's can adjust…to something new…

And then there’s Best Friend…who…those last two weeks…killed with kindness…bribed with treats…really DID become…our Best Friend…

Coming when he heard our voice…sitting for pats…and scratches…and cuddles….and even though…he’s almost too cool…posing for a group selfie…just to make us happy…

Because that’s…what best friends…do…

So thank you…our Other Place peeps…for being kind…and making us feel welcome…and creating a home…away from home…for us snowbirds…
