Take Time To Stop And Smell The Roses

Last year…this husband and I…

Spent two days in San Antonio before Christmas…this year…tightwad me…decided to do all the favs…in one…we walked…and moved…put tons of steps…on that Fit Bit…checked out the Governor’s Mansion…Historic Market Square…Goodwill…oohed and ahhed at the beauty of the courthouse…cathedral…the decorated trees lining the streets…

Visited the Alamo…not feeling quite itself…now an archeological dig…much of the area near it…cordoned off…but stunning still the same…took the riverboat cruise…on the Riverwalk at night…tunneling beneath…the sparkling lights overhead…felt the love…at love lock bridge…and by the end of the day…these two old people…were pooped…and regretted…being rushed…

And so it is…the next visit…these two old adventurers…are going to slow it down a bit…take this time…while they still have it…to stop…and smell the roses…
