Ta-Da!

This husband and I…

Have a favorite shop in Seguin…go there every time we’re in town…quirky…fun…lots of this-es and thats…

Went right before Christmas…buy the perfect gift for that Pyrex collecting friend of mine…saw it last year…loved it last year…but let it stay…and regretted it…

And there it was, just as cute as shopping me had remembered…stood in line to make the purchase…and what to my wondering eyes should I see…

A cat…but not just any cat…a cat that had been there last year…but with a bunch of other cats…loved it then…but let it stay…and, wouldn’t you know, really, really regretted it….

Because it’s sweet and sassy and says “Ta-Da!! Here I am!!” making mama me think of those daughters of hers…those sweet and sassy daughters of hers who always seemed to use that pose…

The Ta-Da pose…the look-at-me-life-is-grand Ta-Da pose…in photo after photo there it was…a favorite of theirs…and a favorite of that favorite person of theirs…

And so it is…one of us rescued that lone little kitty…and now, every day is blessed with a little sweet…a little sass…and a whole lot of Ta-Da! Look at me! Life is grand!..

Because it is…so very grand.
