This old gal…

Had a revelation…one of the reasons…the big old electric manchair is so uncomfortable…is because the arm rests…are too far apart…

It’s annoying…and painful…especially when playing Wordscapes…chatting on Besties…or reading a book…the old elbows dangle…the shoulders start to ache…

But no more…thanks to those friends of mine…Muffin on one side…Kitty on the other…Mini Muffin on the lap…the perfect doo-dad support…

Bodies punched…manipulated…mushed…faces poked…and pressed…by elbows…and gadgets…but the smile never wavers…the sparkle in the eye…always there…saying go ahead…squish us all you want…we’re your friends…we’re here for you…

And so it is…with friendship…whether near…or far…that dearest of dears…is always there…lends support…has your back…and in some cases…maybe even…your elbows…

And this husband of mine…agrees…
