Sucks Tums….

His beautiful wife has to admit…that he’s allowed…to ingest his antacid…however he wants…but what is baffling…most amusing…befuddling really…is that it never…in these oh so many years of using those colorful tabs…crossed this old mind…that you could suck them…

The inner turmoil began with…the bottle says chewable…CHEW…able…so there’s no other option…NO sucking option…you must chew…

But there we were…our convo like this…Are you sucking a Tums?…yep…You can chew them, you know…I spose…They will work faster if you chew them….probly…and that was that…this old gal says no more…but sometimes…she listens…and thinks….do it…bite it…end it…put that Tums out of its misery…

But thanks to this man of mine…the new me has been nudged out of the comfort zone…move to a new town…a journey south…befriend kitties…wear the flower power pants…and maybe..just maybe…break the rules…and NOT chew…the chewable…digestive tablet…
