Did the something old…something new on that trip to Galena…the favorite hotel…new restaurants…the street of shops…the U.S. Grant…Historic Home Site…

Creative Halloween decorations…fun antique shops…the perfect patch for him…the perfect home decor…for her…both left behind…

Walked and shopped…for two days…but except for food…didn’t buy a thing…admired things…laughed at things…but the beauty of old age…it was easy…to leave them be…

Until…we got to Piggly Wiggly…that Piggly lover of mine…in Wiggly doo-dad heaven…so tickled…it honestly…couldn’t get any better than this…

But…it did…

Turned the corner…and what to my wondering eyes should there be…a coffee display…a Berres Brothers Coffee display…and not just one…but two…

If this old gal was going to move to Galena…it would be…for this…her favorite coffee…so hard to find…all flavors…calling…choose me…love me…

And so it is…sometimes…you don’t know what you’re looking for…until you find it…and sometimes…you don’t even know you’re looking for it…until…it calls…your name…

But how fun it is…when you hear…that call…
