Sometimes It's Ok Not To Have A Plan

This old gal…

Turning over a new leaf…filling that shopping cart…with healthy foods…all things promising to lower cholesterol…a can of squirt whipped topping…suddenly appears in the child’s seat…next to the marinated salmon…and the bag of radishes…

Found it slightly surprising…that diabetic husband of mine…never buys sweets…rarely indulges…beyond the…I’ll just have a bite of yours…strategy…

Shopper me…did you want to buy ice cream…
Whipped Cream Man…no…why…
Shopper me…cuz you’re buying squirt whipped cream…
Whipped Cream Man…no…I don’t want ice cream…
Shopper me…what are you going to put it on then…
Whipped Cream Man…I don’t know…I’ll find something…

Like there’s a million things in the kitchen…just waiting to be topped with that sugary sweetness…

And so it is in life…sometimes…old gal’s like me need to…go with the flow…be ok not having a plan…and know…that it can be just as sweet…making it up as you go along…
