This old gal…

Is drawn to the whimsical…even when something is boring…can always find an object…that pushes the boundaries…

Needed a new phone holder for travel…one of those vent clip ones…that makes it easy to see the gps while driving…searched online…lots to choose from…plain…black…nondescript…planned to buy one for when we travel south…

Then ran into this guy…little Mr. Spider-Man HugBuddy…found him so amusing…so charming…wrestled with inner me…just buy the boring one…it’s cheaper than HugBuddy…

Walked away…came back…bent his little arms around…walked away again…came back again…checked to see how he looked…hugging the phone…walked away…then it comes…you aren’t gonna buy Spider-Man?…my Mr. calls…do you want me to?…asks his beautiful bride…a smile…a chuckle…the answer was clear…

And so it is…directionally challenged us…have resorted to a super hero…to get us to our destination…and if we fail even then…

Our new travel Buddy…will be there…with a hug…

And this husband of mine…agrees…
