Some Things Call For A Strawberry Celebration

Celebrated…with a side order of fresh strawberries…at her favorite breakfast hotspot…three months ago…she would never have thought to order strawberries…three months ago…she wouldn’t have wanted to order strawberries…three months ago…she would have ordered…bacon…

But three months ago…she hadn’t just gotten her bloodwork back from her recent cholesterol check…and indeed…it called…for a strawberry…celebration…two portions of Step One Foods a day…a non statin medication…a change in diet and exercise…lowered those cholesterol numbers…75 points…in two months…

Still not in the perfect range…but definitely in a range…that’s manageable…and so…the challenge begins…it’s now…do or die time…literally…do continue on this heart healthy path…do consider it a lifelong change…and do continue to reward progress…
