Were having lunch with friends…have you seen the headstone with the fun comment on it…the Mrs asks…you can see it from the road…this old gal…naturally intrigued when it comes to unique fun…is beyond intrigued…when it comes to the thought of unique…cemetery…headstone fun…

Drove up Cemetery Road…and sure enough…there it was…beautiful black glistening stone…bragging proudly…She made the best meatloaf…something about that…tugged at the heart…dampened the eyes…one can imagine the family visits…awww…that meatloaf…it was the best…SHE…was the best…

Got the old gal rusty wheels turning…who wouldn’t want to be remembered like that…with a heartwarming zinger…but what zinger…would that family of mine choose…when the time came…

Messaged those daughters of mine…explained the dilemma…asked for ideas…anyone…anyone…received one reply…a zinger for sure…laughed out loud…but certainly not printable…on a headstone…or in a rambling…

And maybe…it’s not up to this old gal…to be the one to decide…all those days…all those hours…all those minutes…all that time…spent together…those ladies of mine will know…what brings a smile…warms the heart…what their mom did best…what…down the road…they will miss…the most…
