This husband and I…
Visited the Japanese Tea Garden…a botanical garden built into a limestone quarry… Admired the grand pavilion…walked the cobbled pathways…crossed the stone bridges…admired the cascading waterfall… Communed with nature…birds singing…koi fish koi-fishing…cats with no homes lounging in the feral cat colony… The garden was quiet, serene…the flowers, the plants, brown in their winter slumber…the fairy lights adorning the buildings dark….but still it was lovely… The shapes…the stone…the history of the place…and strolling me couldn’t help but be in awe of what it could be…what it WILL be in full bloom with the lights all aglow… And she wants to be there…to see it…to bask in its splendor…even if it means driving at night… Because sometimes in life…you can see the beauty…feel the joy…can tell how impactful it will be…so sometimes…the mutton busting, the lighted garden…you find a way…somehow, some day…to make it happen… And this husband of mine…agrees…
