This husband of mine…

Refuses to accept…that Summer is done…

Put that behemoth of a plant outside…so the house looked sparse for showings…she loved the sun…the rain…the humidity…everything a wild and crazy hibiscus plant could ever ask for…even blessed us with a bloom…her first outside bloom…to show her appreciation…

What wasn’t expected…was the lunchtime visit by Baby Bunny…

My Mr. frantically darting to the door…having seen Baby from the window…sitting all comfy cozy…in Summer’s pot…enjoying a Summer’s day snack…leaves…branches…all of it in Baby’s belly…

Maybe if you prune her and make her even she will come back…I say…
Or maybe…it’s just time…to let her go…
To that Hawaiian Island…in the sky…
