That globe trotting daughter of mine…

Spending Thanksgiving in Ireland…this time with that husband of hers…visiting friends she met when studying abroad…

Went to that same fairy garden…this old gal loved so much…but said this time…thanks to the dark and dreary weather…it had an entirely…different feel…

Still magical…still beautiful…still enchanting…but now…in a somewhat…more ominous way…

And so it is…in life…sometimes one thing…one little thing…can change the dynamic…the vibe…of an otherwise…beautiful day…

A foul mood…a nasty comment…unexpected road rage…those toxic relationships…that bring the dark…and dreary…into what should be…a brilliant day…

Don’t settle…my friends…search…for the sunlight…find…the sunlight…bask…in the sunlight…and let others…bask…in yours…
