Grabbed a puzzle at a checkout…thought it might be fun…the week before Christmas…already had one ready to go…but this one…wink wink…was all about…kitties…started sorting the pieces by color…a more difficult task than usual…the tones light…muted…details blurred…on top of that…each piece…was pretty much…the same shape…

And that’s when…puzzle doer me…threw in the towel…not a quitter…never a quitter…but this time…she quit…put those pieces back in the box…and started to sort…puzzle number two…bright colors…clear details…fun unique shapes…and what would you know…this old gal…didn’t have to work on the puzzle alone…was kept company all day…by Ralphie and his family…playing over and over on TV…

And so it is…in the Christmas Story of life…sometimes…you just gotta quit…move on…try something different…cuz you never know…what’s waiting there…next in line…might end up being…your life’s Major Award…
