Loves Christmas traditions…chili…oyster stew…Sunday School program…Christmas Eve service…the hustle and bustle of family gatherings…last year…December in Texas…was difficult…the lack of those traditions…echoed sadly in the heart…this time…traveler me…worked to fill that void…with something new…

Christmas Eve strolled over the beautiful Faust Bridge…enjoyed an afternoon movie…took an evening drive through lovely lighted neighborhoods…looked for a local…living nativity...Christmas Day brought Christmas movies…a feast of roast beast…a zoom with all those Cindy Lou Whos of mine…and the joy of connecting with family and friends…besties…who had been thoughtful…in sending gifts for our tree…in sending texts of well wishes…who made sure this old gal…felt loved…

For that’s what it’s all about…this holiday…Him loving us…and us…loving others…this tradition…a guide…in how to live…every day of our little Who life…caring…reaching out…showing the love…so that not even the grinchiest of grinchy hearts…will feel alone…
