Got to double dip…on a family adventure…those grandkids of ours…chalking a walk nearby…where that daughter of mine lives…who just so happened…to be moving into a snazzy new place that weekend…mama me…excited to see her…happy to help…love being involved…in these fun life changes…

Remember the last move…after college…just us two…three floors up…no elevator…klutzes we were…but got it done…this time tho…that girl of mine…was organized…took charge…rented a place…with an elevator…

And so it is…mama me…not sure when…or if ever…this parent will be ok…with the feeling she didn’t do enough…wished she could have helped more…done more…supported more…but there’s pride…in watching…family step up…and pitch in…and pride…in watching that little mini me…and her sidekick furball…navigate that crazy stressful move like a pro…

Proving…she’s got what it takes…to make this wonderful world…her oyster…
