Make It Happen

Every time this old gal opens the freezer…

She thinks of that friend of hers…

Not because she’s a fan of Ore-ida or margaritas…not because she eats ravioli or veggies with cheese sauce…but because those cat clips smiling there with each freezer door opening…were a gift from her…

A thoughtful gift…a kind gift…a personal gift because she knows how much cat lover me…loves cats…

Try to get together as often as we can…life so busy…well HER life so busy…family…teaching…color guard coach…met up for lunch the end of summer…visit when she comes to town to see her son…

And had our night out at the Musky City marching band contest watching her color guard and that band of theirs…do their thing…

Look forward to this time with her…this yearly event…she making sure this old gal knows the date…the time…the schedule…

She lining it up…touching base…making plans…

How lucky we are…how thankful…to have those friends…those make it happen friends…who are intentional in not letting time…distance…get in the way…

What a blessing…what a treasure…what a wonderful friend…
