Life's A Trip

This husband and I…

Took a jaunt…to a cute little college town not far from here…my Mr. choosing to drive…wanting to give Old Red some exercise…and a battery charge…passenger me…rarely getting to be passenger me…took full advantage…of this change in routine…

Quickly fell back into old habits…mama me…chauffeur to three little ladies…tended to be somewhat…of a snackaholic…driving along…a munch munch here…and a chomp chomp there…this…not so much an option these days…safety a concern…can’t say mama me was an unsafe driver…but the juggling of food and drink while navigating traffic…makes her current copilot…a tad bit nervous…

And so it was…passenger me…heavy laden with all those favorites…hazelnut coffee…breakfast pizza and milk…grape tangy taffy for later…was in…grand adventure heaven…beautiful scenery…delightful company…snacks galore…no doubt about it…that drive…was a real…trip…
