Bought a book…a history book…a history book of New Town…learned about city founders…historic buildings…the famous button industry…

Well written…amazing pictures…delightful…really quite delightful…but not as delightful as those walks…with that neighbor of mine…

Born here…grew up here…lived here all her life…a New Town expert…those daily walks of ours transformed into a history lesson so much more entertaining than those back in high school days…

That building used to be a bank…that’s where my dad went to high school…that street is named after so and so who did this or that…

It’s awesome…it’s the best…SHE’s awesome…SHE’s…the best…

And so it is in life…it’s amazing what we can learn from others…open your ears…open your heart…and listen…
