This old gal…

Brought the Texas Town history search to its final end…at the cemetery…have been there before…but never…with any background…went on a gravesite scavenger hunt…so to speak…used the people and plots sign…to guide the way…located the resting places of those…who’ve left their mark…on this Texas Town story…

This husband of mine…doing his own kind of search…locating holes housing some kind of cemetery critter…pointing out fire ants…marveling at their never ending toil…and then…there it was…another little version of Heaven…cemetery Heaven…those precious blooms…rustling in the breeze…whispering…calling…

This sight…takes the breath away…the surreal dichotomy…the living…coming forth from the dead…the new…surrounding the old…yet the commonalities are there…peace…beauty…tranquility…

And so…

When it’s time
To rest my head
Lay me down
In a bluebonnet bed…
