This old gal…

Was beautifully blessed on her birthday…so many well wishes…so many thoughtful gifts…

Those favorite blueberry donuts showing up at the porch door…gifts from friends and family…bringing smiles…warming the heart…

That husband of mine doing his thing…the way he does birthdays…take his lovely wife shopping…let her pick out what she wants…

Coffee and goodies at Buc-ee’s…Penney’s for some earrings…the antique mall for a vintage swung glass vase…

And surprise of suprises…a shirt he secretly picked out…a soft shirt…a kitty cat shirt…a soft…kitty cat shirt…

But a sad shirt…a sad kitty cat shirt…that husband of mine disappointed…after closer inspection…that all the cats…looked sad…

And so it is in life…sometimes…we wear our hearts on our sleeves…and sometimes…we wear sad cats on our shirt…

But that doesn’t mean…we can’t find a way…to put a pawsitive spin on it…we just have to think of one…
