Donned that new tie dye Buc-ee’s t-shirt…for a date…at Golden Corral…paired it with a quirky bandana…a young gal…serving up drinks…handed over a water with…omg…I love your bandana…I’ve been wanting to try something new with my hair…I think I’m going try that…she was told to go for it…that maybe the two of us…can somehow…make it popular…

On the way home…stopped at Walgreens…the teenager at the checkout…commented while ringing up the Milk Duds…I love your top…she said…in fact…I love…the entire…get together…and there it was…old gal me…never stylish…never trendy…not particularly a head turner…is now…at the ripe old age of 62…turning heads…of teens…

And truth be told…it’s not about the clothes…or accessories…or the old gal wearing them…it’s about fun…tie dye quirky fun…having fun…letting go of what-everyone-else-is-doing expectations…and feeling free…to just…be you…quirky…tie dye…fun loving…you…
