Just Because You Fail - Doesn't Mean You Are A Failure

This old gal…

Has failed…a lot…cheerleading tryouts…All State music auditions…a couple of marriages…but can’t say she feels…like a failure…

Because each of the gazillion non successes…brought about something good…lessons learned…ways to grow…

But if mama me were to mutter…I wish I could have…or gosh I failed at…it would be…in providing those babies of hers…a childhood…in a healthy home…with a mom…and a dad…

Wouldn’t change a thing…made the right choices…us ladies on our own…did just fine…and they aren’t…without their father…

But for those of us…who never had a dad in the home…or lacked many years of it…that experience…what that feels like…will always…be elusive…

So yes…mama me is sad…and wishes she could have created the home environment…she longed for…for those daughters of hers…

But she knows…she did her best in building a strong foundation…so those ladies…can create the family unit…the family dynamic…their beautiful hearts…desire…
