This husband and I…

Had a sleepover with the grandboys…it seems like yesterday…that those daughters of mine were this age…yet it seems like forever ago…

But this old gal…and her Mr…found their groove…soon enough…a rock hunting adventure…in the backyard…where treasures were found…that this mom remembers once seeing…in some collections…of some girls I know…not sure HOW these treasures…found their way…to the rock bed…out back...

Tadpole hunting…a little park play…perler beads…and making old toys feel loved again…

A light show…in the dark…so cool…so calming…some bedtime stories…of favorite books…that have just been waiting to be shared…

McDonald’s…and pizza…and green eggs and ham…Sam…I am…

Plans are in play…already…for next time…we have things to do…places to go…adventures to have…
because in the blink of an eye….those years will fly…
