It Does A Body Good

This old gal…

Met up with a friend…that high school friend from Old Town who just so happens to now live in New Town…

It had been a while…one of us laid up with food poisoning…the other spending time with her grandkids…

Enjoyed breakfast…conversation…catching up…

Headed outside…vowed to get together
again…started walking in opposite directions when that friend of mine turned and said…

I just love laughing with you…

Those words…I just love laughing with you…powerful…flattering…not a compliment ever received before…

And laughed we did…a lot…an hour and a half a lot…

Talked about this…and laughed…talked about that…and laughed…talked about teaching…life…aging…life…some of it heavy…some of it not…but mixed with the words…we laughed…

And it felt good…

And so it is in life…live laugh love…live to laugh…love to laugh…find a friend…and share a laugh…it does a body good…
