This husband of mine…

Has this fun little saying…out and about…browsing thrift stores…antique shops…grocery aisles…

His pondering wife…always pondering…questioning…curious…what is this…what is it for…what in the world could it be…and here it comes…with the hint of a smile…

It can be…whatever you want it to be…

And so it was…driver me backing out of a parking spot…the beep beep beep watch-out-behind-you warning does its thing…kicking off a conversation…that went something like this…

Him…Be sure to check your mirrors…
Her…I did…that guy just zipped right by…
Him…Wouldn’t it be funny if instead of beeping…cars spoke and said be sure to check your mirrors
Her…Well…I already have that…
Him…Was that a compliment or an insult…
And…this time…it was her turn to say…with a smile and a twinkle in the eye…

It can be…whatever…you want it to be…
