This husband of mine…

Is not a big shopper…knows what he likes…says what he doesn’t…same jeans from 20 years ago…black or dark cotton t-shirts…gold toe cotton socks…so when he asked this old gal…to order something for him…she was taken aback…the first thought popping in the old head…was…who are you…and where is my husband…

For this shirt…brightly colored…unique graphic…100% non breathable polyester…was not…what she expected…several weeks later…heading out for a bite to eat…who emerges…but this man…wearing his throw back to Buddy Holly polyester golf shirt…

Had to laugh…it was edgy…it was fun…it was a side of him…his lovely wife had never seen…strike a pose…he’s told…and so he does…silly…laughing…embracing this new look…

And so it is…sometimes life…can get predictable…blasé…same old same old…but nothing says…you can’t spice it up a bit…go out on a limb…have fun…maybe order that whacky non breathable orange golf shirt…and strut your stuff…

Cuz you know what they say…if you act like you own it…
