This husband and I…

Came upon the Museum of Texas Handmade Furniture…while toodling along the El Camino Real de los tejas…wasn’t too early…or too cold…so decided to endure the Disney like crowds…to see the attraction…ok…it wasn’t exactly Disney like crowds…not even really a crowd…unless two old people…wandering around looking lost…can be considered a crowd…

Off season…weekday…odd time…no one was there… not even the volunteer keeping watch over the museum was on site…as she had business to take care of…elsewhere…maybe it’s not open…worried Chicken Little…I’m not sure we should be here…the gate was open…came the reply from his sidekick…she being either Brave…or a Dumbo…

And so the tour ensued…Chicken and Dumbo admiring the restored historic buildings…leisurely strolling the lovely grounds…when what to our wondering eyes should appear…a helpful volunteer…who offered up a 45 minute guided tour…of the furniture museum…one of us an eager beaver…the other…had had enough adventure for the day…

He wasn’t late…or cold…but it was…after lunch…combine that with the work of navigating the crowds…one could say…he was a little…drowsy…
