This old gal…

Has decided to address the elephant in the room…will take it on the chin…for all of us wondering…what the deal is…with the rebellion…of the old age toenails…

Had hoped to avoid it…pampered them…protected them…flattered them…but no…just like in that movie Gremlins…one minute they are cute…perfectly aligned…easy to prep and primp…

And then…BAM…it hits…out of control…angry…hideous…total rampant ugliness…

Add fuel to the fire…can’t bend enough to reach them…and honestly couldn’t see them…with or without glasses…even if the body could still contort…like the good old days…

No doubt there’s some scientific reason for the issue…but more than likely…they are just over it…over being bumped…and stubbed…and painted a ridiculous glittery blue…

Ok phalanges…you are heard…thank you for your years of support…your never wavering loyalty…it’s understood…we do all change with age…outer beauty shifting and morphing…

But fear not…inside…the beauty remains the same…just as it was 50 years ago…like no time has passed at all…

This is the beauty…that’s important…that will sustain us…that will be left behind…as a legacy…
