Mama me…

Had a little case of FOMO…those daughters of mine…coming together to Old Town…staying in an adorable Airbnb…attending their grandmother’s funeral…seeing family and friends…who were once this old gal’s…family and friends…

Could have been there…was made more than welcome…through texts and phone calls from family…of which this heart…will forever be grateful…but chose not to…closure was there…little conversations had occurred…with the underlying tone…of saying everything…that needed to be said…

It was rare tho…and felt weird…to see those ladies being The Ladies…without…their fearless leader…kind of a peek…into the one day…when The Ladies…will become…a group of three…

And this mama…didn’t miss out at all…for from a distance…she watched them support each other…lean on each other…be a unified team…in their time of sorrow…

Bringing peace to someone who loves them…who can rest assured…that they will be fine…one day without her…because they will have…each other…
