This old gal…

Had a great aunt…named Cecile…

Aunt Cele…taught kindergarten…taught little ME in kindergarten…had teacher penmanship…a bell like laugh…and a kind heart…

She would send sweet cards…and small gifts...to this niece of hers…and those daughter’s of mine…probably the same age…as this old gal is now…but at the time…she seemed old…

And so…we’ve come full circle…this old gal…hanging with those great nieces of mine…playing pirates…looking for treasure…eating pizza with their nana…

It’s the great aunt's turn…to be fun…and cool…to send cute notes in the mail…in her teacher handwriting…and show the love…

With the greatest gift of all…that cuddly squishy Squishaboo…because that’s what…Great…aunts do…
