This old gal…

On her DC travels…started to see things…through different eyes…a man’s eyes…her man’s…eyes…walking along…started to notice the soil…in flowerbeds…around trees…near the sidewalks…was rocky…just like that…in Texas…

On campus…was in awe of the new memorial…beautifully created…with stones of granite…enormous stones of granite…just like…but so much bigger than those…in Texas…enjoyed lunch one day…in between meatloaf and pasta…at a favorite Mexican eatery…shared some queso and the shrimp fajitas…noticed the sign on the wall…just like all those…we’ve seen…in Texas…

And so it is…in life…how those around us…their thoughts…their actions…over time…can seep into the cracks…of our being…that influence…favorable…or not…depending on our choices…so choose wisely…those friendships…those relationships…surround yourself with the positive…the happy…the honorable…grow in good…and in turn…those around you…will do the same…
