Goodbyes Are Hard But They Aren't Forever

This old gal…

Blanched when she walked into the bathroom…for there in the trash…was the empty bottle of body wash…

Not just any body wash…but her favorite body wash…Bath and Body Works White Citrus body wash…the one she’s used for like a gazillion years…

The one they no longer make…she using this last bottle sparingly…little dollops on the shower sponge rather than big globs…

Had explained this heartache to that husband of mine…white citrus…no longer make it…favorite scent…last bottle…so sad…so very very sad….

It apparently one of those Charlie Brown scenes…lamenting me lamenting the loss of her soap…faux listening him hearing…wah wah wha wha wahhhh…tossing that bottle without a care in the world…

Did a little rescue mission…gonna squeeze a few more washes out of the residue…add some water…make it last a little longer…

Because sometimes…in life…we aren’t ready to say good-bye…friends…family…felines…favorites…because good-byes are hard…but they aren’t forever…

Unless of course it’s White Citrus from Bath and Body Works…then it is forever…according to the website…it is…
