Give Silly A Try

​That visitor of ours…

Encouraged a photo shoot…of that husband and me…during the downtown tour…

You take selfies…she says…but no one takes pictures of you together…and so we did…pictures of the three of us…and then of the two…this husband of mine…a good sport…until his beautiful bride…pushed too far…

Throw your arm up like this…it’s suggested…and smile like this…he’s told…but reserved man that he is…the whacky photos that so make us ladies laugh…are yet to be in his portfolio…

There was coaxing…and laughter…and coaching…and laughter…and demonstrating…and more laughter…

And somewhere along the way…a little crack emerged in the veneer…

The twinkle…the chuckle…silly girls rubbing off on that shy husband of mine…resulting in wonderful memories…of a delightful day…
