Got the biggest kick out of those smiley face mugs…smiling on the shelf…the very same day she wrote about a smiley face classroom…

Always bought a new mug for the year…fill it with coffee…or pencils and markers…the thrill of the hunt…find one to match that year’s theme…

No classroom this year…no desk…no need for a smiley faced theme…but nothing says teacher me can’t celebrate the new school year…with a new to her mug…

Found at an antique store…for under 6 bucks…but which one to pick…that was the question…the rounder one cuter…first choice for sure…

But the handle small…room for only two fingers…and that arthritis in the hands…gotta have more to hold on to these days…

And so it is…in life…with aging…priorities change…but that doesn’t mean we can’t still find a reason…to smile…
