Everything's Bigger In Texas

This old gal…

Has seen the phrase…everything is bigger in Texas…haven’t really thought about it much…until…

Stayed at an adorable hotel in Mineral Wells…famous for its mineral water…toured its free museum…ate supper at a 50’s diner…

Was watching a little TV…gearing up for a last day on the road…when that husband of mine said…OMG…have you…

And he needn’t say…anything more…because yes his beautiful wife had…and yes…she found it…equally as baffling…

The toilet was huge…like feet dangling huge…can’t touch the floor huge…like no way to get leverage…huge…

Maybe it’s a Texas thing…maybe it’s a fancy hotel thing…maybe it’s a way to get people off the throne faster thing…

But for that husband of mine…it was a deal breaker thing…bringing up words like Super 8…and just need a place to lay our heads…kind of thing…

And so it is…some things may be bigger in Texas…but one has to wonder…in some cases…do they really…have to be…
