All was not lost for two old folks…

In their quest for a Thanksgiving feast…for when everyone else was out shopping Black Friday sales…it was over the river and through the woods…

To Golden Corral we go…the parking lot bare…the line nonexistent…the senior citizen discount in play…because it was no longer a holiday…

Filled those plates to the rim…free coffee to the brim…turkey…dressing…potatoes galore…stuffed ourselves crazy til we couldn’t eat more…

But what to our wondering eyes should we see…pie…pie…pie and more pie…pumpkin with whipped cream and pecan too…and throw on some bacon because why not?…what’s a woman to do?..

Twas a day to be thankful…as every day is…for family and friends…good health and the biz…
