Those daughters of mine…

Loved Chuck E Cheese…spent lots of birthdays there…lots and lots of birthdays there…ski ball…video games…that giant vat of plastic balls…

Decided to resurrect the game room skills…take those boys of ours to the Fun Zone…newly updated…lots of cool machines…

Gamers us dominated…hadn’t lost the old Chuck E Cheese touch…ski ball…Godzilla…the claw…it was a blast…

And we played forever…over an hour…all four of us for less than 10 bucks each…what a deal…what a bargain…what an easy way to entertain three boys and a grandma…

Went back two days later…fill a couple of hours…refine our skills…bought three cards…paid the same…but something was wrong…

Those cards were done in 15 minutes…Grandma me surprised…flustered…blubbering embarrassingly like baffled grandmas do…

And then it came…wise words from an experienced young one…I think some days you get two for one…and he wasn’t wrong…

And so it is…in life…don’t forget to read the fine print…because you might get more…or less…than you bargained for…
